01 Pricing
Per application, based on total installed capacity. One fee covers submission through to commissioning. No VAT is charged on these prices — what you see is what you pay.

02 DNO coverage
All six GB distribution network operators, plus independent DNOs. Great Britain only — Northern Ireland is a separate regime and isn’t covered.

03 Who I work with
Installers only, and only ones meeting the standards below. I don't work direct with homeowners.

| Letter of Authority | Signed by the customer, authorising me to submit on their behalf. I provide the template; it takes them two minutes. |
This isn't gatekeeping for its own sake. The application carries the customer's name and their MPAN, and it is the DNO's record of what is connected to their network. If the install behind it isn't certified and the customer has no recourse, that's a problem I'd rather not put my name to.
04 How it works
- STEP 1You send the pack. SLD, cutout photo and customer details. Upload them in the portal, or email them across.
- STEP 2I check it's complete and submit. Right form for the DNO, filled in correctly. If something is missing, I ask you before it goes in.
- STEP 3I track and chase. I hold the reference, answer DNO queries and keep the application moving.
- STEP 4You get the approval and export number. Decision, export number and MPAN passed back for your records and the customer's.
- STEP 5I submit the commissioning confirmation. Once the system is energised, the commissioning paperwork goes to the DNO. Included in the fee — the job isn't finished until this is done.
05 What you need to send me
Three items per site. Incomplete packs are the main cause of delay.

06 Scope and liability
You remain the designer of record for the installation.
I am responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the submission — the right form, filled in correctly, submitted, followed up, and the commissioning confirmation sent once you have energised the system.
I am not responsible for the system design, the specification, or the installation work.
If the information you send is wrong, the application will be wrong. I will flag anything that looks inconsistent before submitting.
